There are a number of ways to stream Hulu to your TV.  Watching Hulu on TV just feels more natural as we’ve watched tv programs on our old color tv for the last 20 years.  So how exactly do we stream Hulu from our computer to our tv to give it that old television feel?

1. Connecting PC to TV to watch Hulu Stream on TV

Our laptop came with a connection port in the back that allows us to connect via S Video to tv.  Since our tv is old, we bought also a svideo to rca converter which converts the svideo cable to  the rca standard our tv uses.

If you don’t have a connection for going PC to TV, we’d recommend buying on ebay since the usually cost around $30.

For a remote control to Hulu a bit better, we bought a remote control for pc which lets us stop and play our Hulu programs.   It works great with our slingbox too, as well as winamp.

We found this remote that works good when streaming Hulu to TV on ebay for about $15 with shipping.

Overall we’ve got a good setup for streaming Hulu to TV.  Our remote acts as the TV remote, and we just make sure our laptop is running.  It’s a great way to Stream Hulu to TV without buying that much extra equipment, and makes use of your laptop.
