thePirateCity.org has an official launch with the ability watch free movies closed until October 1st.  But no fear, that is just two days away.  When thePirateCity.org official launches on October 1st, expect pirate bay’s impressive torrent collection, yet streaming online.  They hope to provide a movie site with full streaming movies.

As for the quality? We’ll have to wait and see.  I’m expecting YouTube like videos with cam and theater movie rips.

Currently the Pirate City has just a splash screen up and count down ticker letting you know the exact moment the site will be up.  Will we even be able to access the Pirate City at launch or will the servers crash?
