Now Joost has moved to the internet with full videos online rather than using their download client. This makes watching full videos on Joost a whole lot easier, that is as long as you sign up for an account.
Unlike Hulu, which offers anyone to watch videos without an account (except rated R films), everyone needs to create an account with Joost in order to watch videos. The registration process was quick and easy, and after we had our account, watching videos was easy.
Joost doesn’t really have a whole lot more to offer than Hulu, though they do have plenty of independent shows, and a few programmes, such as Star Trek, that Hulu has yet to acquire.
Starting this month, Joost will offer Joost Standard, a free version of the site with all the new features, but won’t require any downloads whatsoever. (Though you need flash installed.)
