Director of the Joy Luck Club, Wayne Wang, will put his movie Princess of Nebraska to watch completely for free online. Princess of Nebraska will appear in YouTube’s Screening Room.

Prince of Nebraska is also the companion piece to Wayne Wang’s other new film to be released A Thousand Years of Good Prayers. Princess of Nebraska touches a rather sensitive topic as the basis for the story is a Chinese student in Nebraska who travels to San Francisco to get an abortion.

This 77 minute will be available soon on YouTube, but do people actually go to YouTube to watch long films? It seems YouTube has more of the reputation of short films, but by keeping the film in it’s seperate Screening Room channel, it will lead to a success?
