YouTube has taken a stand against terrorism videos, by saying that YouTube itself will not show videos uploaded by terrorists. Google has now bended to the will of Sen. Lieberman, and will now ban terrorist videos on YouTube. Sen Lieberman had been requesting for sometime that YouTube bans it’s videos that are created for terrorists. On the one hand YouTube though why ban these videos, because don’t we want the terrorists to leak videos that might help us identity where they are?
With the new ban, terrorists will find their videos banned and unable to reach their message on YouTube. Maybe this will frustrate the terrorists to the point that they will stop? We don’t think so, and Sen. Lieberman, may have a point, but shouldn’t we also want terrorists to post these photos as to get a better clue of their location and possible intent?
