The Pirate City has launched, with over 800 streaming free movies online. Most of the older films are in excellent quality (for online that is), with near DVD quality films. I’ve been using Replay Media Catcher to rip the films off the Pirate City to watch them later (reduces pauses from insufficient bandwidth.)
We’ve had the occasional problem streaming a free movie online with the Pirate City, but most often they’ve provided an additional file for watching the movie online. We are hoping Baby Mama gets fixed soon!
Two of our favorite features of the Pirate City include browsing by category, and most watched videos. Less we forget also that there is a comments section.
Is the Pirate City run by the Pirate Bay? No one has said anything official and there is no direct support from the Pirate Bay, so it’s anyone’s guess for now.
