Historic ads from former presidential campaigns are now online to watch from different areas and many different president eras.  You can see how the president’s have changed their ads significantly through the years.  Are Presidents smearing each other more than before?  Most of the ads selected in this series are somewhat famous ads. Now with these historic ads, we can watch both the best and the worst of Nixon, Reagan, Eisenhower, Mondale, old Bush, Cheney, Ford, Carter, Goldwater, and Johnson all online.

Of course we think McCain’s ads against Barack Obama as him being a celebrity deserves to also go down in history as a controversial ad.  There aren’t really ads from this century or really from the 90s, so it would also be interesting to see historic presidential ads from the 90s and 00s.
