Life on Mars is now online with full episodes from ABC with the launch of Life on Mars which premieres October 9.  In the new series Life on Mars, Sam Tyler (Jason O’Mara) is a detective from the 21st century who travels back in time to the 1970s after a car accident. Tyler clashes with new boss Gene Hunt who doesn’t take his coming from the future seriously.

We can’t yet watch Life on Mars online yet, not until after the series premiere. Until then, we are left with the trailer, which looks pretty good from first impressions.  In the first episode of Life on Mars, “Detective Sam Tyler and his partner both on and off duty Maya are trying to catch Colin Raimes for murder. After an argument Maya goes missing and Sam is desperate to find her, while looking he is hit by a car and ends up in 1973.”
