AT&T has unveiled their own Video Crawler which indexes hundreds of millions of video clips from thousands of sites, with new sites and millions of clips added every day, with everyone trying to find better ways to organize videos online better. Of course if Google really seems to be lacking something, it’s the ability to really find the video you are looking for across all sites and services.
While AT&T’s new Video Crawler doesn’t actually host videos on it’s site, but rather displays and indexes videos from across the web. There have been plenty of diffferent video sites out there, we all know YouTube, MySpace video, Vimeo, MetaCafe… but what is the best attempt at trying to index all of these sites into one video search?
Video Crawler will also have a safe search option to help filter any adult content from showing up in your search results.
