If you have Netflix and travel outside the USA or go abroad, you still can watch Netflix from outside USA. The method we told you earlier about in how to watch Hulu and American TV abroad also works with Netflix.
Netflix is a great service for watching movies and tv shows on demand. With an 8.99 monthly membership members can access Netflix and watch unlimited movies and shows.
Two Methods for Watching Netflix Abroad
1. HotSpot Shield. Our first recommended method is Hotspot Shield. This free program will disguise your internet to make it look as if you were in the United States. We’ve also been able to watch such internet TV sites as Hulu using Hotspot Shield.
2. Ultrareach. This second method is not as reliable as HotSpot Shield in our opinion, but it functions nearly the same.

In order to see videos on official US sites from abroad you’ll need to use a proxy service.
Easiest way to do it is to google “anonymous proxy” for list of proxy IP addresses.
Choose any address then go to you browser settings ( Something like “Tools>Internet options>Connections>Lan Settings..>and check “Enable proxy” and enter the prioxy ip address you got earlier.

Hulu and many other sights have learned not to allow for anonymous IPs. Hot Spot Shield no longer works.

I remembered I watched Hulu after the date of your comment, and using hotshield. I don\\\’t think Hulu and other sites would prohibit this method because:
A-It is not practical , there are a lot of \\"anonymous\\" IPs being used , it is simply a person in the US or company grant access to their IP, they can\\\’t ban every IP.
B-They have no interest in doing so, the only reason Hulu and other streaming sites restrict contents based on location, is for licensing purpose, because license holders in other countries will sue them if they don\\\’t get proper license from international publishers. but I don\\\’t think they can make a case, just because hulu don\\\’t ban every ip that maybe used by international visitor.
all this is my opinion of course, and should not be considered a legal advice.
Can only confirm what Patti is saying. Hotspot Shield is not working with Netflix now.
Anyone who has another solution for Mac-users abroad wanting to watch netflix Instant, I\’m all ears.

Noticed the change with Hotspot shield here as well. Just got Netflix and Hulu working on my comptuer again when I use Hotspot in conjuction with Firefox browser.
