After Spurlock completed his series Supersize me a documentary series that took place for 30 days, he noticed what was possible in 30 days and therefore began work on the documentary series 30 days on FX.

Morgan Spurlock asks the question, what would happen if people spend 30 days living in someone else’s shoes?  Morgan follows issues like binge drinking, anti aging, and even a story about a straight guy living in a gay world for 30 days.
