Full length hollywood movies are coming to YouTube thanks to a new agreement. YouTube is evolving and watching Hulu make deals and agreement that it would like a part of. YouTube is not Hulu, but with an exclusive movie deal to put movies on YouTube, like it has already done with CBS, where it shows exclusive shows from CBS as part of YouTube.
On the downside however, YouTube has limited a lot of it’s full length movies and shows to the US only. This seems a little off putting with YouTube normally allowing material to be viewed by anyway, but having the same time content that is for the United States only? At least this they don’t usually allow nonviewable content to show up in search results for non US locaitons, but in any case, doesn’t the rest of the world feel just a little left out? And they wonder why file sharing sites are so popular…
