Tidal TV to replace cable? At least now we can watch shows on demand in a format more like TV.  Tidal TV takes videos on demand and makes it a lot more like TV.

Visiting the TidalTV page for the first time, you will see something like a tv guide completewith a schedule of currently playing and upcoming shows.You can enlarge the video screen or leave it small in the corner.

Though shows do play on a time line, you don’t have to wait an hour to watch a show.  Just click the show and the time line will advance.  This makes the whole experience seem very much like tv.  However, keep in mind that channels are not live or streaming, rather they are all on demand.  So you can watch what you want when you want, but if you don’t know what you want, you can just as easily watch Tidal TV without touching anything.

Tidal TV requirements needed? Not much.  In fact, you can watch videos in the browser without any special requirements or downloads or even plugins.

Will Tidal TV kill any other video sights? No we don’t think so, but it is a totally different way to watch tv online and a welcome addition.
