Now Facebook video is online with even HD Video, and it could be one of the first real threats to YouTube. YouTube and Facebook both recently made the switch to HD video, but the question, with Facebook in the video market, will more users take advantage of video on Facebook and turn away from YouTube.
There are a few reasons we believe YouTube will lose users to Facebook:
1. Easier to share HD videos with friends.
2. Friends are automatically notified of new uploaded Facebook videos (for example last nights party, or the graduation dinner… etc…)
3. People are already logging into Facebook daily to check their messages, it is even easier to just upload a video to your Facebook account.
4. Facebook videos are embeddable but don’t have the remaining logo like YouTube videos do.
So if you already use Facebook, it’s definately worth looking into the option of uploading your own video directly to Facebook.
