I recently read a study that reported that internet uses tend to use more tv and vice versa. It seems as if the use of internet and tv are interconnected. Those who didn’t use as much tv, also didn’t use that much internet.
Now with internet and tv might even be more significantly related since there is more and more internet tv available. Most shows make an effort to become online immediately sometimes within one day after the show was released online.
A Nielsen study reported that 31% of internet and tv is going on simultaneously.
Both Internet and TV consumption were up this year. According to the Nielsen Study, “the average person in the United States watched 142 hours of TV a month, up 4%, from last year. People who used the Internet were online 27 hours a month (up 6%)”
