The Game is the number one comedy on the CW.  It pulled in 3.0 million viewers and was one of the top shows for African Americans. In this series, a girl gives up going to John Hopkins to follow her boyfriend to San Diego. She settles in, meets the mother of another starting football player, and has to balance her life.

The Game is actually a bit of a spinoff of another shows successful episode. The show Girlfriends ended up having a very successful episode, which prompted the producers to create a new series based on the episode alone.

The first episode to the Game premiered October 1, 2006 and is already in it’s third successful season.
