The anime series of Amatsuki begins with a high school student. He is sent to a history museum that is a recreation of the edo period. However during his visit he is attacked by some supernatural beings and loses the vision in his left eye. He is saved from them by a girl named Kuchiha. When he tries to take off the simulation googles he finds that they aren’t there and that he is stuck in the simulation.
