Rather Black Jack episodes online deal with a surgeon, a strange young Japanese doctor called Black Jack, traveling the world solving miraculous surgery situations.  Though the medical community recognizes the skills of Black Jack, they hate him because he follows no rules and charges high fees for his services. This anime series however shows another side to Black Jack that the public doesn’t see. Black Jack does good deeds, for which he rarely gets recognition—often curing the poor and destitute for free.

The new Black Jack anime series was released in fall of 2004 in Japan, as well as a film entitled Black Jack: The Two Doctors of Darkness.
