In Cosmo Warrior Zero, humanity has created mechanized beings that have being independent and rogue, eventually enslaving the humans. Those humans that wanted to avoid suffering under their control fled earth.
Zero is one of those that fled earth. He is the commander of a Fleet. After the mechanized beings took away his family, his only motivation is fighting back at these beings.
