The Japanese anime Elfen Lied is online to watch full episodes with English subtitles. Elfen Lied actually has a German title meaning elves song and comes from the German poem, Elfenlied. The series lasted 13 episodes, originally airing July to October 2004.
Elfen Lied is about an elf looking creature named Lucy who escapes from the lab where she was held. Before leaving she massacres the staff, but during the incident she is hit by a sniper bullet and falls in the ocean. Lucy is found by Yuka and Kohta and develops a split personality thanks to the trauma. She forgets what she did to the lab, but the facility isn’t going to let Lucy go that easily…
