In the anime Flame of Recca we find Recca, a boy drawn to the ways of the ninja. A mysterious girl with special healing powers befriends Recca and on the same day he is challenged by a Dark Priestess. The battle helps Recca realize the own powers he possesses. He is able to control and manipulate flames. He finds out that there are others with powers practicing the way of the ninja who challenge him one after another.
