In Legend of Basara the show takes place in a small village in which two twins a boy and a girl are born. The boy is supposedly the one to free Japan from the rule of a tyrant according to a prophet called Nagi. However, this tyrant the Red King slays the twin boy, now leaving the girl twin to take on her brother’s name and responsibilities and embark on a quest to free Japan and deliver vengeance to the Red King.
