In Potemayo, we find the story of this small creature called Potemayo. He was named by Sunao Moriyama, a student who foundhim one day looking in his refrigerator. He takes him to school and the girls love it. While at the park on day another similar create comes out of the fridge and finds them. His classmate finds it and also names it. However this create is a bit different than the Potemayo. It is extremely aggressive and shoots beams out of its head when confronted.
