The plot to REC involvesa single bachelor named Fumikhiko Matsumaru. He gets inited to a movie but the girl stands him up. As he was ready to just leave and throw those tickets away a cute girl says not to throw them away and goes with him out. It turns out that fate is on Fumikhiko’s side as she even lives in the same neighborhood. After her apartment catches fire about 5 hours later, he lets her stay over. Quickly they form a strong relationship while at the same time hiding the secret from their employers.
