In the series Revolutionary Girl Utena is the story in which after the parents of Utena passed awaay she was given a ring with a rose crest by a prince for consolement. Years later shes giving her teachers headaches by dressing like a boy in a boys uniform which she says is so she can be like that prince she met long before. Utena’s friend get insulted by the student council something for which she decides to defend against. Thanks to that rose crest on the ring that the prince gave her she is able to enter the dueling area. Her she wins and becomes engaged to the Rose Bride. After getting quite fond of Anthy, the Rose Bride, she must fight to keep her friend safe and to discover the horrifying secret behind Ohtori Academy.
