Original episodes of the Outer Limits series are online to watch. The Outer Limits was another take on the whole Twilight Zone type category with strange plot twists at the end of each episode. However, what the Outer Limits did was make episodes that were more into Sci Fi than the Twilight Zone. The series used to air ABC Monday nights at 8 pm. It first aired September 16, 1963 and ended January 16, 1965.
You probalby know the voice at the beginning of the original Outer Limits: “There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission….” The Outer Limits also managed to score a whole lot of 1960s-era guest stars (and writers such as Harlan Ellison). Even Steven King said that The Outer Limits was “the best program of its type ever to run on television.”
