The racing anime Wangan Midnight is now online to watch in full. Wangan Midnight first aired June 8, 2007 – September 13, 2008 with a total of 26 episodes.
Wangan refers to a stretch of the Shuto expressway in Tokyo used for racing, which often occurs at midnight, thus giving the show the name Wangan Midnight. The story begins with Akio who races his Fairlady Z against a doctor in a Porsche 911. He loses the race and is determined to be faster. He finds a Fairlady S30 in a junkyard and fixes it up. It turns out the old engine is this car was cursed, by a driver with his name who died on the Wangan. Everyone who drives the car spins out. The main plot deals with battling for Wangan superiority.
