In Zaion: I Wish You Were Here, the story is set in the future. This is a future in which a virulent form of life comes to Earth on a meteor which upon contact to humans, turns them into monsters. As most humans are wiped out by the virus, Governments form to fight against the monster virus. The NOA, one of the groups of soldiers uses nanomachiines to transform the soldiers and fight off those who were infected. As the virus mutates, even the NOA can’t fight it. The only hope for humankind seems to rest in the hands of a 16 year old girl who has the power to defeat this deadly virus.
