Episodes of the classic series, Growing Pains are now online to watch in full. Growing pains aired on ABC from September 1985 to April 1992. Leonardo DiCaprio even stared in the show as a homeless boy the Seavers adopt.
In Growing Pains we find the story of a family of five called the Seavers living in Long Island. There’s the father with his own home psychiatrist practice at home, as well as his wife Maggie who works as a journalist. Together Jason and Maggie raise their four children worrying about such issues as “who would stay home with the baby” or would “be there for the kids” and the responsibility was often juggled, even fought over, between the two parents but eventually settled. The 80s pinup boy of the show, Mike helped Growing Pains ratings shoot sky high and quickly became the 80’s pin up boy appearing on cover after cover of teen magazines.
