Episodes of the series Masterpiece Contemporary from PBS are now onlne to watch in full. This is one of PBS’s own original series bringing their own vision in his 5 part long thriller series. The first part aired 10/05/2008.
This is a series that could even be mimicking a possible realistic future.
In Masterpiece Contemporary theater, we find England set in a not too far away future. A mathematical genius will take you ona wild ride through the boundless paranoia of a surveillance society on The Last Enemy. They use Biometric ID cards, ubiquitous security cameras, and “Total Information Awareness,” a program to give authorities unlimited access to personal data, have turned Britain into a virtual police state. And it turns out that Big Brother has even bigger plans for keeping track of citizens.
