Minisodes and episodes of the series What’s Happening are now online to watch. The classic series What’s Happening first premiered August 5, 1976 and ended April 28, 1979.

In What’s Happening we find a series centered around three black teens, Roger “Raj” Thomas, Dwayne Clemens, and Freddie “Rerun” Stubbs. Rerun had gotten his nickname because he kept on having to repeat high school courses that he had flunked. Some changes happened during the series such as having Dwayne’s last name had been changed to Nelson. The series features them struggling to grow up in a lower-middle class neighborhood.
