oh btw on v1.5 the “create account” link doesnt get removed even after you make 4 acocunts and log in to each one , even after you make 40 accounts it hasnt been removed , not on my pc anyway.

YES you can create multiple acocunts before having to change your IP.
what people here are trying to do is create UNLIMITED accounts , if you are so dumb that you think graboid just removes the link then your noob as they come and prob only just starting using graboid.

no lex they do not get your mac address as i have multiple machines and cant create an account on any of them once they lock me out.
tbh i really dont think graboid could care too much about people creating mass accounts as you cant download alot of good stuff without paying.

kate , even someone like dom could make 10 accounts , thats not impressive or anything to gloat about , your obviousley searching google on “how to make multi grab accounts” otherwise you wouldnt have come to this page would you ?

as to this day, i still have methods of making free accounts, allow me to share some with you, create a shortcut on your desktop aiming to: http://users.graboid.com/subs/signupApp.php?price_group=-21

Once this shortcut is made open graboid, DRAG the shortcut into graboid causing the Webbrowser to act as going to the link

Simple… now just find a working temp email website, there is LOADS!

garboid might be illegal or not, everyone has there own opinion. and for all thoose who are saying it is impossible to make multiple accounts your wrong, i have had about 10 of them. i am not going to put how, because they will change it, but keeping trying and you shall be fine.

dom is right. They remove the home link only after you first login, which means multiple accounts are possible on the same machine. If you use my method described above it works.

Also, I was reading through my previous post and I think I might have missed something. Everyone talks about Graboid logging IP addresses but has anyone considered the logging of the MAC address as well? From my understanding most people can set up Dynamic IP easily but have trouble physically hacking their NIC to change the MAC address. You can go buy another NIC/wireless NIC whIch solves that problem but that can be costly. Can anyone confirm it is only the IP address that Graboid tracks?

K first of all geez you ppl are angry. Second Graboid is a great service and it does cost money to run their servers. They are not just leeching money from people. They provide the easiest mode of streaming from the usenet. Yes you can find videos and more indexed all over the web and can simply download an nzb and stream a video using nzbplayer or bintube, but it is often much more work to find the video you want. I sometimes have to use 3 different engines before I get a hit. Additionally alot of isp’s have shut down their usenet service, so one may run into more fees paying for good usenet access. All in all Graboid is easy to use an if nothing else if you ever get charged with downloading illegal movies (unlikely but all the same) you can claim that graboid’s owners say its legal.
