Eden of the East begins in which on November 22, 2010 ten missiles strike against uninhabited areas of Japan, which in turn kills no people. They call this day “careless Monday” and nothing much is thought of the day. Three months later, a young Japanese woman named Saki Morimi visits Washington D.C. as part of her graduation trip. She meets a man who helps her get out of trouble who seems to have lost all his memory. He is carrying a cell phone with 8 billion yen charged in digital money and when she gets back to Japan she realized a new missile attack has taken place.
