You can use a free usenet client as an alternative to Graboid. Not only does Usenet provide more than movies, but it downloads just as fast as Graboid, since Graboid is a usenet client.

One of the best usenet clients that are also free includes Altbinz.net. This client is easy to use,and can take in multiple Usenet servers.
Free Usenet Servers
It really is hard to find a good free Usenet server, however servies like Giganews offer free 2 week unlimited trials which can be used to download all the data you need in a short time. Graboid itself is essentially an expensive Usenet server. They charge much more than any usenet server like Giganews which charges $25 for unlimited access.

Thanks for the information on Graboid alternatives. I was tired of paying the expensive fees – Giganews sounds much more reasonable!

Thanks for posting, I checked out their site and if you want unlimited downloading it is a really good deal. My ISP limits the amount I can download and Giganews other plans are actually more expensive then Graboid. Cheers to all those users who can download as much as they want.
