Episodes of the species series Defying Gravity will be online to watch from ABC after the premiere. ABC decided to take a chance on Defying Gravity a new kind of drama series involving astronauts on a mission for 6 years, traveling throughout the solar system.

Defying Gravity takes place in the near future and focuses on the lives of eight astronauts from five different countries on a six-year mission through the solar system. Already planned for the first episode: A secret element in Storage Pod 4 affects the crew which leads to a dangerous crisis. Meanwhile, Ted’s wife Eve Shaw reveals the true nature of the mission to him.
