PlayOn was released in Beta for Wii users so they can finally use their Wii’s to watch Netflix and Hulu content. That means yes, watch Netflix, Hulu, CBS, YouTube, CNN, ESPN and even more right on your Wii system connected to your tv.

Unfortunately PlayOn is in beta version meaning that no users can download the program yet. Apparently we’ve heard that it is riddled with bugs and flaws that have kept the tech people busy. It seems that to watch the coveted services like Netflix and Hulu on a Wii we are going to have to wait just a little bit longer for the support we so crave.

Until the public release of Playon for the Wii, we can always use boxee to watch content in a tv like interface on our pc…
