The series Baccano is about a group of some alchemists that are given immortality when a demon gives it to them. In the year 1711 shortly after, a war breaks out between the immortals and these alchemists scatter the globe to avoid their own extinction. Later one alchemist reappears living in New York in the 1930s. This 200-year-old alchemist reproduces the elixir and the battle begins anew!
