Episodes of the series Sanford and Sons are now online to watch in full. Sanford and Sons first aired January 14, 1972 and ended September 2, 1977. Sanford and Sons was created by the same creator of the series All in the Family, Norman Lear. It was his first series to feature a primary cast of African Americans.

Sanford and Sons also starred standup comedian Redd Foxx as 65-year old junk collector namedFred Sanford. Fred ran his junk collection business from his home located in Los Angeles. His home was run-down but it was comfortable enough for him and his son, Lamont, with whom he lived with and who was a partner in the business.

The show was mimicked many times after the British series from which it was based Steptoe and Son. Certain episodes of Sanford and Sons are actually remakes of Steptoe and Son.
