Hitachi unveiled a new TV that turns inself off when you are not watching it. This new Hitachi TV has a face recognition feature that can tell weather or not you are watching the tv display. When you look away, this Hitachi TV will automatically go into power saving made.

Benefits of a face recognizing tv include saving power when not watching tv. Not having to switch the tv off when you leave the room. No word yet onto when these new face recognition tvs will come out.
