Blockbuster On demand is coming to TIVO and actually now available for online rentals on TIVO devices. Ever since Blockbuster has been having trouble with their physical stores, they have been switching to on demand, rental boxes, and even and online Netflix type rental service. Prices of the Blockbuster on demand rentals will range from $2.99 for classic hits to $3.99 for new releases.
Using a video on demand located within TIVO, viewers will be able to select Blockbuster video rentals and hopefully recognize the Blockbuster brand name a as a trusted source for renting their videos. However, will viewers want to pay 3 to 4 dollars for a video when a Netflix subscription cost as low as 8 dollars a money with video on demand?
