YouTube has officially announced that they now generate up to one billion views per day on their video site. This is good news for Google who bought YouTube overpriced. In fact three years ago from yesterday Oct 9 Chad Hurley and Steve Chen sold YouTube to Google for $1.65 billion.

Chad Hurley still is involved with YouTube as the CEO of Youtube. It must have been happy days the day YouTube was acquired by Google, the video you can still watch online.

Now 3 years later YouTube is still around generating a billion views a day and still going strong.
