Now watch a new take of the X-Men online with the Astonishing X-Men. This version is brought be Joss Whedon (Dollhouse) and John Cassaday’s Eisner who have brought to life the X-Men one more time using the help of comics legend Neal Adams. This series is adapted from the Marvel Motion comics. The series first premiered 10/28/2009 and lasted 13 minutes in length.

With Astonishing X-Men they’ve chosen a different approach to the way they animate this series. This isn’t your standard cartoon. They’ve chosen a more comic book looking feel to the story. This is considered a motion comic and is possible thanks to new digital technology.

The premiere was in Union Square, October 18th in New York City.
